A 12-week plan for Executive Officer (Endowments) Grade III

5 phases, week by week

Assumes a graduate starting Paper II from scratch, about 4 hours a day for roughly three months. The exam date is not notified; if later, stretch weeks 2-7.

  1. Week 1

Apply and measure where you stand

    • Apply before 05.11.2026, 11:59 PM; Palnadu has 12 posts, West Godavari 10, NTR 9.
    • Solve the 2026 EO Paper II timed; sort wrong answers into scriptures, tradition, Act.
    • Get Act 30 of 1987 (as amended 2007, 2023) and AP ROR Act 1971.
  2. Weeks 2-4

Endowments Act block first (2.5 hours a day), Paper I base (1.5 hours)

    • Section 29 (EO duties), Section 6 (income classes); tabulate section, content, who decides.
    • Section 57, Chapter VII budget and audit, and who sanctions each category's budget.
    • Sections 75-83 (inams, leases, new Section 83), ROR basics; Paper I history, daily reasoning.
  3. Weeks 5-7

Epics and Puranas (the biggest block by count)

    • Mahabharatham: 18 Parvas in order, lineages, war commanders, Bhagavad Gita chapter themes.
    • Ramayanam's 7 Kandas and families; Bhagavatham's 12 Skandhas and their stories.
    • 18 Mahapuranas, Jyotirlingas, Shakti Peethas, AP kshetras; Paper I geography and polity.
  4. Weeks 8-9

Tradition block and the rest of Paper I

    • Vedic culture, the Acharyas (Sankara, Ramanuja, Madhva, Basava), festivals and Hindu family law.
    • Paper I: environment, disaster management and data analysis (47 questions in 2026).
  5. Weeks 10-12

Sectionals, current events and full mocks

    • One 30-question Paper II sectional a day; log wrong sections and authorities.
    • Paper I current events of the last 12 months, 30 minutes a day.
    • 4 to 6 full mocks, both papers on one day; revise the error notebook.

Mistakes that cost marks

5 traps seen in the real papers
  • Studying only the familiar epics. The Act block (about 40 questions in 2026) is where candidates are separated.
  • Learning the old encroachment sections: Act 36 of 2023 rewrote Section 83 and omitted Sections 84 to 86.
  • Mixing near-neighbour options: Section 77 vs 79 vs 80 vs 81, AC vs DC vs RJC.
  • Ignoring Telugu names: the 2026 English paper itself used Telugu forms like 'Tamasu' and 'Somakasurudu'.
  • Guessing blindly: with 1/3 negative marking, guess only when you can rule out at least one option.
