A 14-week plan for Forest Section Officer

Mistakes that cost marks

5 traps seen in the real papers
  • Taking the English and Telugu test lightly: fail either half and your 450-mark score is lost.
  • Preparing Paper III only from your degree subject; no degree covers all 11 units.
  • Practising maths with a calculator: Para 15.5 bans them, and Paper II gives one minute per question.
  • Mixing up forest law years: AP Forest Act 1967, Wildlife Protection 1972, Forest Conservation 1980, Forest Rights 2006.
  • Leaving walking practice until the result: 25 km in 4 hours is a steady 6.25 km an hour.
