15.5.1 Direct purchase by negotiation in Maharashtra: the 2015 GR and the 25% incentive

Under the Revenue Department's GR of 12 May 2015, Maharashtra may buy land directly from willing owners for public projects, paying the compensation that the 2013 Act would give plus a 25% incentive, so that the long compulsory process is avoided.
