7.2.4 Land-use zoning and land-use classification in a development plan

Zoning divides a planning area into zones, each with a set of permitted uses and building controls, so that compatible activities sit together and incompatible ones are kept apart; in Maharashtra the DP shows the zones and UDCPR Chapter 4 lists what each zone allows.
