3.5.6.4 Ports and the blue economy: Visakhapatnam, state ports, new greenfield ports and maritime policy

AP has one Major Port (Visakhapatnam, under the Centre) and 16 notified state ports. It is building four greenfield ports, and its Maritime Policy 2024 aims to handle 20% of India's cargo by 2047.
