9 Local Area Plan · 9.1 Local area plans
9.1.4 What a Maharashtra Local Area plan must contain (s.33A(3)), the Final Local Area plan and its modification (ss.33C(2)–(3), 33D)
Section 33A(3) lists what every Maharashtra Local Area plan must provide — detailed micro-planning, redevelopment of areas such as TOD and CBD, streets, future services, phasing and cost — and once sanctioned it becomes the "Final Local Area plan", which modifies the DP or RP to that extent and can itself be modified only through the s.33D procedure.
